Activities

  • Kitchen and pancake breakfast run by the Humboldt & District SPCA (proceeds going to them).

  • Silent auction until 3:30PM. Proceeds going to the Humboldt & District SPCA.

  • Kids colouring table courtesy of illustrator Athena Whitbread and Freckles the Bunny Series.

  • A free children's drawing class with Athena Whitbread at 1:15PM.

  • Face painting (proceeds going the Humboldt SPCA).

  • Afternoon entertainment.

  • Free coffee, courtesy of the Humboldt, SK Extra Foods.

  • Children's Cutest Easter Outfit Contest (see photos below) at 1PM.

  • Caricatures at Angry Monkey Cartoonz.

  • Book/Comic signings at the following tables: Janice Howden, Mary Harelkin Bishop, Sheila Bautz, 4 Paws Games and Publishing (Freckles the Bunny Series and Sherlock the Remarkable Cat Series), Cuckoo's Nest Press and Colin Work & comics.

  • Saskatchewan Writers' Guild will have some authors taking turns at their table as well, they will provide information and answer questions about the guild.

  • Buy and paint statues at Stars and More Decorations.

  • Bruno Library will have a petition to sign to save the libraries. The Wheatland Owl mascot will be there from 10AM-11AM.

 

Vendors

  • 4 Paws Games and Publishing - books, series merchandise, Freckles the Bunny Series, and Sherlock the Remarkable Cat Series book related products. (15% of book sales will be donated to the Humboldt SPCA).

  • Baking: bread, buns, cinnamon buns,scuffles, fudge chocolate and white, coconut balls, rice crisps, puffed wheat squares, brownies, rocky road chocolate and caramel and more. Crocheted aprons, mittens, slippers, pot holders, scarves, dish cloths, Barbie clothes and more by Margaret.

  • ​​Author Janice Howden and her books. $5/book sold will be donated to the Humboldt SPCA.

  • Beauty products and crafts by Erika & toys and other wood products by Ryan.​

  • Wretched Elegance - furniture and home decor as well as natural products.

  • Screaming Mimi Designs with crocheted cat toys and dog collar accessories.

  • Imagine Yarn with unique felted purses, purse crochet kits, crocheted children's dresses, bookmarks and more!

  • That's Sew Geeky: Cosplay and Accessories with bowties, costumes, coffee cozies, plushies and more.

  • Beyond the Moment Designs by Robin Renneberg will be at our event with paintings, multi-medium art pieces, faux floral pieces and etched glass.

  • Blissful Baby Boutique with blankets, bibs, burp cloths, feeding arm pillows, zipper pouches, wet bags, hooded towels, nursing pads, heating bags, bow ties, kids toys, diaper straps, door latch covers, soother clips, teething toys, chewellery and infinity scarves.

  • Alcohol ink art for the wall and table, as well as magnets by Marie.

  • Homemade wooden photo albums, bird houses, liquid soap, knitted work socks, knitted mermaid baby cozies and various other crafts by Terry & Tammy.

  • Artist Colin Work, illustrator for the "Auroraman" comics will be coming, along with an "Auroraman" mini comic making it's debut. He will also have comic books, comic related at and comic book related items.

  • Art prints by artist Suzanne Buttle.

  • Saskatchewan Writers' Guild.

  • Surrayah`s Jewels featuring seed bead weaving and wire wrapping.

  • Warm Hugs (Handmade Crochet Apparel and Accessories).

  • Craftree Wood Creations with art greeting cards, art prints and woodwork.

  • Etched copper jewelery, hand crafted earwires, bead jewelery and wired utensils by Donna.

  • Cuckoo's Nest Press with Saskatch-a-man comics, comics, graphic novels, artwork and comic-themed t-shirts. Elaine M. Will and Mark Allard-Will will be present.

  • We have wood toys, bird houses, benches, cutting boards, trays and more made by Allan. If you haven't seen his stuff, it's a must! He makes some awesome tractor collectibles and more!

  • OTGB Armoury & Costumery with a mix of cosplay armour and other products.

  • Balanced Living Holistic Care will be attending our event and doing a Chakradance as well. Balanced Living Holistic Care is a business that offers Chakradance, bodytalk, reflexology,access bars and related products.

  • Author/Artist Sheila Bautz.

  • Paintings by Stef Lem.

  • Crochet crafts, drawing and paintings by Taylor.

  • Beaded pendants, broaches, native jewellery, barrettes, children's character beaded wearables, and more by Lorena.

  • Handmade by Sarah will be at our event with unique, handmade wood signs.

  • Cross-stitch table cloths, knitted dish cloths, loomed scarves, slippers, hot pots and garden markers by Elaine.
